The Royal Australian Navy’s new logistic supply vessels are among the largest naval projects ever to be undertaken by CT.

We have been involved in the project from the outset, not only working from Narón’s offices (A Coruña), but also transferring personnel to the customer’s facilities at Navantia’s shipyard in Ferrol, participating in the functional engineering, after which we developed 100% of the detailed engineering, production engineering and RAMS (ILS & Safety), over 180 experts and technicians being assigned to the project. Moreover, CT’s technicians and engineers have taken part in the planning, layout management and programme leadership support activities.

The new ships, whose design is based on the Spanish Navy’s vessel Cantabria, will supply ammunition, fuel, food and water to the Royal Australian Navy’s vessels deployed all over the world.
